No, you don’t have to pack food for your child. Children who attend a full day of long child care will be offered at least 50% of their recommended daily dietary intake while in care. We have more information on our menu rotation in the Foyer!
Do I have to pack nappies?
We supply the nappies and the nappy cream! If your child does need a particular nappy cream, you will need to pack this in their bag, please make sure it’s labelled, and our educators are aware!
Do I have to pack formula?
Yes, please, we ask that our parents pre-measure the formula for their child and supply an empty labelled bottle or simply bring along a clearly labelled tin to keep at the centre
What should I pack in my little one’s bag?
This is dependent on your child’s age; we always recommend packing a change of clothing for any weather! We supply hats to all children upon enrolment, they are stored in individual hat pockets and clearly named.
If your child has a comforter, it’s nice to pack that (please label) so they have something special from home with them.

What does the enrolment process look like?
When your child starts at our Lang Park or Acacia Park, we like to settle them in slowly; our centre must be the right fit for your child and your family.
To start, your child will attend a two-hour orientation session to familiarise themselves with this new environment.
Talk to one of our educators in regards to how we will personalise your enrolment process with us.
Payment and Fees
Our families pay their fees up to the current week, all payments are made via Debitsuccess.
It’s the parent’s responsibility to register for the childcare subsidy. Through your My Gov Account, we can point you in the right direction!
Programs and Curriculum
Our curriculum is guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF) and the concepts of Belonging, Being and Becoming; we offer extracurricular activities at no extra cost to you for all children at our service upon parental permission. We have successful been assessed in education program and practice exceeding the National Quality Standards. We are passionate about your little one becoming our future.
Keen Interests
If there is something that your child is particularly interested in, we want to know! We like to involve your child’s interests in their every day play to elevate their learning. We love parent input!

Health and Hygiene
What happens if my child gets sick during the day?
Should your child present illness symptoms or become unwell at the service, we will talk to the parent to discuss the best course of action for your child. We document all first aid instances; we will discuss these matters further with you upon joining the Lang Park & Acacia Park family.
Daily cleaning routine
The team at Lang Park and Acacia Park clean the services throughout the day and contract cleaners do a rigorous clean at the end of the day after both services have closed for the night. Your child’s learning and care in a safe space is our priority.
Health and Hygiene
We actively encourage your child to practice good hygiene skills. We focus on this to minimise the instance of illness at the service.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Lang Park and Acacia Park Early Learning Centre team.
