Belonging, Being, Becoming

We believe in a program that is play-based and guided by the child's interest. We give children space and opportunity to develop to their full potential. Children are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas. We believe children must have some control over their learning direction; that is where we strive to incorporate the child's voice in their play and learning at Lang Park and Acacia Park Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten.

Our curriculum is guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF) and the concepts of Belonging, Being and Becoming.

The five learning outcomes are

Children have a strong sense of identity

Children are connected with and contribute to their world

Children have a strong sense of wellbeing

Children are confident and involved learners

Children are effective communicators

Have you heard about Owna?

At Lang Park Early Learning Centre and Acacia Park Early Learning Centre, we use Owna daily. Owna is a private space that brings our village together. We can record and communicate learning on the app by sharing photos, video, audio, observations, and routines within a secure online environment. We can receive instant feedback and design new ways to extend children's unique interests and capabilities. What’s better than watching your child grow!
